Im not going for tech stuff. I have it about 2 months. I switched from Canon. Initially bought A73 then A9 II and A7R IV-A. Now sold these 2 bodies and kept this A1 and Love it. After A9 series, you will never like A7 series wether A7IV or A7RIV-A. next level is A92 or A1. I went to concert with 70-200 GM and 14mm GM, took amazing shots, I didnt miss single shot, yes have the best Sony 160 GB A type cards in both slots. In low light and in terrible stage laser lights, I managed to get amazing shots. Color tone, vibrant color, image detail, capture tons of info, most of my shots dont even need lightroom or editing, it saves lot of my post production time. If you know, what you are doing, you will get un-beaten shots. This camera shines in even low lighting. There is new interface, very user friendly, touch screen is big plus. If you could manage the price then this is “the best camera”, well Im not get paid for this review, this is real honest feedback. Yes, you will love it, thanks. Read full review

Although there is much to love about this camera: lossless raw compression, high resolution, better colors than some previous and other attributes, my copy was a dud at stabilization. I am a veteran photographer and I have two Sony bodies, A7iii and A9ii, and both were better at long distance shooting of wildlife with my 200-600mm Sony zoom at 600mm a longer distances. It was not a focus problem; the entire image was very soft even at 1/3000th second. I tried all the settings, even ones that shouldn't matter. Nothing worked. So I returned it. I would buy another one if I was sure this wouldn't happen again but there have been similar complaints on some photography sites about the A1 with my lens and with the 600mm G lens as well. Hopefully, a firmware fix will arrive in the future. But I could not keep that body at that price. I could have given this camera rating a one star but it does have some amazing qualities that deserve respect.Read full review

Sony's top of the line camera. It is excellent. But quite pricey . The a9 and a9ii are almost as good but half the price.
