Oregon Bar Groove cleaner helped salvaged an old Husqvarna chainsaw.
Cleaning my chainsaw bar was something I overlooked for a long time and ended up scorching my Husqvarna bar and there was some bluing. I hadn't used the saw in several years and bought a replacement Oregon bar and chain, but after detailed machine inspection I found another problem with the bar oiler. I was also able to salvage the chain but it was pretty beat up too. The bar was also mushroomed a bit in the slot. I was able to use a large flat file to remove the mushrooming, cleaned out the bar groove with this Oregon bar cleaner and sprayed a bunch of WD-40 in the channel. And now it works great. I'll be cleaning the groove each time I flip the bar over.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
