Selle Italia Watt Carbon vs Watt
I have both versions of the Watt, and can say I like them both very much for comfort, quality of construction, and esthetics. With the carbon version one saves a few grams, but not all seat posts will accept the oblong carbon support rails, the padding is not as compliant, and there’s the higher price tag. If you hang a couple water bottles, tube/tool bag, and CO2 off the back of the seat rails, I’d have more confidence in metal rails over carbon over the long haul, but this is only a thought.
