Bought this for my sons birthday, he plugged it in and it worked fine the first night. He woke up the next day turned on his PS4 and it wouldn’t recognize it anymore. We tried to reformat it on the PS4 and on 4 different computers with no luck. It picks it up as a device such as a printer or a mouse not a external hard drive. We have done everything. It is garbage. I’ve read that there are a lot of problems with these not working, only wish I would have read that before we purchased it for him. Thankfully I had a extra hard drive laying around that worked with no issues at all.. I would definitely not recommend this to anyone if you don’t want to waste your money. More storage for a great price
The easiest solution to my PS4 memory issues. It’s Plug and play. Quick format takes, about 1 minute or less. Can easily move Apps from system to external storage and back. Still have to put the disk into the System then it plays right off of the external hard drive. No more unable to download due to not having enough space. Awesome!

Wasn’t sure how well this would work but it works perfectly. Basically plug-n-play and you an additional 2tb of storage so you don’t have to keep deleting games on a PS4 500gb system.
