Well, it's an iPhone. That gives it the cachet of must-have, although not for me (I have a Samsung Galaxy). To my son, for whom only iPhones exist, it is a hit. His sister has an iPhone 8 SE, and now her brother has the iPhone 11. I wouldn't pony up the cash for anything beyond the 11, because honestly iPhones are not worth the extra money. But for kids, who know no better, nothing else will do.This iPhone 11 is light and fits well in the hand. Paired with a Spigen case, it "looks awesome." He likes the speed and features so those are a plus. And the cameras' resolutions are quite decent, but again other phones match it. It comes with too many apps, half of which are not needed, and it requires an Apple Store ID to do much more than tell the time. That makes it far too easy to buy things, because kids can't help themselves. It has a nice display. The greatest negative is the lack of the home button. Apple thinks that is just marvelous but its customers think otherwise. However, he can get used to it. So it's a nice mobile phone, but there are many nice mobile phones. It runs Snapchat and Instagram, but what phone doesn't. So yes, it's an Apple product, and yes it's cool to show your friends who have lesser models, and yes it has FaceTime ... so, um, yes, I suppose it's a Thing To Have.Read full review

Phone works great and battery life is good. There were a few marks on the side, so if you want to avoid that go with "excellent" quality. Overall good phone.
