  • good title

Amy Carmichael has been my mentor since I discovered her as a teenager. I was a Wycliffe Bible Translator for 46 years and I read this book many times. AC went to India in 1897 or so and never took a furlough. Her themes were 'dying to self' and taking up our cross to follow Christ. The author, Frank Houghton, knew Amy and visited her at Dohnavur. Elisabeth Elliott wrote a biography about her but this is far better and more devotional. Imagine EE criticizing Amy Carmichael after the latter had gone to heaven! The product was in excellent condition and I sent it to a niece. Thank you!
