Seasoned HVAC installer Concerned only of installation in northern climates. Says in manuel heating under 20 degrees farenheit reduced efficiency greatly and not rated for heating under that temp. Linesets are labeled standard but a metric flairing tool is best. T-stat did have farenheit options just have to set it up. Now to the wiring I was fortunate to install a unit in spain for my brother and learned there that the wall mounted head unit is where the line voltage goes first. In Ohio electrical code states a disconnect must be in eyesight of equipment. So units designed for US has line voltage to a condensers disconnect. Happy to install it for my father. He loves it in his apartment. Piggy backed line voltage off of a electric baseboard heater will be used as secondary heat source below 20 degrees. I installed this system today in about 5 hours (most of which was because of some logistic issues in my install). This system replaced an underrated room unit that failed I assume because it was overstrained. My install is in an insulated 12 x 16 storage building. We have 3 other such buildings of different sizes, all have mini splits. By far this system not only performs better than those it is an incredible value! I was amazed that it came with the lines and the interconnect wiring. That makes it an even better value! We live in south central Georgia and it was over 95 today. I had the doors open the whole time and once I fired up the system it took maybe 30 minutes to get down to 71! I can’t say enough positive. No negatives! Oh one more thing the product description mentioned that the system was only available in centigrade. Well. that wasn’t an issue but bonus, it’s actually in Fahrenheit! If you’re looking for a system in this size, this is the one. Very very pleased! Read full review

Can’t beat this for the money. I installed this in my garage and it’s working great. Wish I would have done it sooner. The condenser had a small dent in it but it didn’t cause any harm to the unit. I actually just left it as is. It cools my two car garage with no problem at all. I would recommend to anyone. They were pretty fast on getting the unit to me also. Took about 10 days. From date of purchase to get to my front door.

after installing this heatpump my power bill dropped 100 dollars a month. when purchasing these devices make sure your sizing them appropriately. this one is being used to supplement an older heating and air system and once that is replaced it should reduce the load on the total system when it gets installed however get the line kit for it too. thats the only shortfall I can find with the system. but overall this thing is awesome.
