I was previously using PC 9% Resist BHA, and I liked it a lot, but wanted to try something a bit more affordable. After reading several skincare blogs I learned about this product and decided to give it a try. I was concerned that it would be less effective, given that it's a lower percentage of active product compared to PC, however this seems to work just as well, and at almost half the cost of the PC exfoliator. I use this primarily to clear up closed comedones, a problem I've developed in my late 30's. That said, it also works great for more troublesome cyst-like acne as well. I've not had any major breakouts since using a BHA, and this product brings CCs to the surface quickly, and makes it easy to extract them myself without irritating my skin. I'm 39, fair with freckles and light eyes, and have somewhat sensitive skin, prone to redness and irritation. I have to be careful with what I put on my face - this product is great, and very affordable for me. Give it a try! :) Read full review

Feels a bit oily on, so for someone with oily skin that's a freak out. Maybe ok for someone with normal skin but not good for congested skin.

This product, BHA Blackhead Power Liquid, and the AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid have become true holy grail products for me. I use the two together, applying BHA first followed by AHA, once a week currently but I might up that number to twice a week once my skin has gotten used to the effect. The two products together leave my skin exfoliated, radiant and super soft. I can really tell the difference in the health of my skin from using this product. The fact that it contains both Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid is a huge plus. I have seen some people in places mentioning the smell, which I find to be very subtle. It does smell of something and it stays on your skin for a while but it is very, very faint and I would not worry about it. I have sensitive combination skin myself but if you have -very- sensitive skin, you might want to be a little careful with using this together with the AHA at the start, to avoid over-exfoliating. I would start with BHA only first, then try AHA on its own too before using both at the same time. Or simply use both but on different days. Read full review

I have a combination skin with some freckles on the cheeks. Whithead in the corner of my nose and blackhead with visible pores (at least I can see them in the mirror) on my Tzone. I decide to purchase this after so many positive reviews. I got BHA, AHA and poreless 3 bottles. And I used all three product every night for two months now. I don't use them in the morning because I use vitamin C serum. I read that these two doesn't mix well together. So I only use them at night. One bottle 100ml, 3-4 pumps will cover my entire face if I use cotton balls. If I use my paw, I only need 2 pumps. 3 pumps will be to much, so I will use on me neck too if I pumped to much. Texture is like thick water or essence. No smell. I used cotton ball and can't smell anything (normally I am pretty sensitive to smell). It does feel moisture after application. Feel a layer of essence or light cream. Effectiveness: I don't see big difference. I still can see my pores and blackhead in the mirror. Maybe I expect too much (baby skin). blackheads are lighter but still there. Whitehead not too obvious. And redness on my both side of nose is better. My skin definitely softer and smoother. My skin feel good after and remain smooth until the next morning. good price and last long. I only use a quarter toward 1/3 after 2 months, once a day. So if you are using twice day, it should last you at least 3-4 months.Read full review

Have you tried blackhead removers and ineffective tonics? COSRX BHA is a buy you definitely won't regret. Firstly, it has a great price-value proportion; this 100 ml bottle probably will last you 3-6 months. Secondly, it does its job effectively, by wiping this product with a cottonball on your blackheads, most of them are instantly faded or removed. Great advantage, you don't have to squeeze them and damage your skin. You do have to be careful not to overexfoliate (like you gotta be careful with every exfoliation products). About the texture: it is clear, not scented, feels like a little thicker water, compared to for example an essence, it's much more runny. Lastly, what I noticed it helps even whiteheads and red spots to calm down and 'beats' them back from where they came from, while being extra gentle and pulling back inflammation.Read full review
