Positives: Lightweight, compact, wonderful screen picture and sensitivity, quick-charge battery. Negatives: Lower battery life b/c of small battery, all glass construction necessitates a full case, came pre-installed with a lot of software that I wouldn't use. Overall: The phone is a solid device. The negatives are spawned from the positives. If you want a compact lightweight device, you'll have to sacrifice a larger battery. 8/10 would purchase again.

Have had Samsung phones for years, have been happy with them. Strayed from Android to try an iPhone4, not bad however, did not fill the bill. Still have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and it works just as well as a 6, with 40% longer battery life. I do like wireless charging, even got a wireless adapter for the S5, without it on the 6 it is kinda worthless. Fortunately it cost me only $30 more than the Moto X I sold, which was not near the device the Samsung is. Have heard the S7 solves the problem, will try one in a few months. The S6 back is not removable, no SD card and seems MUCH MORE delicate than the S5. On the plus side, seems to keep signal in areas I have experienced dropped calls in the past. EXCELLENT video and phone audio. Feels better in the Otterbox than the S5, but it needs it.Read full review

Simply. I wanted to upgrade my Samsung S4 because the memory was too small and I couldn't add any more apps. I installed a memory chip and moved what was allowed onto the chip but the main memory was still too small. I decided the Samsung S6. The battery would wear out in 4 hours or so. After spending hours on Google I learned how to extend the battery life by shutting down all the extra stuff, usused apps and moving to the energy saving mode. The battery life was extended but not enough. There is one more energy saving mode that is a bare bones mode. A black screen and even less. I didn't spent $$ for a new phone when it was worse than my current phone. I am not a gamer, nor do I watch videos on my phone. All I need is to send text, emails, make phone calls and occasionally take a photo. I do need a phone what will serve these functions for a whole day. The good features are the camera. It is noticeably better quality and wonderful to use. The other feature I will miss is the sound quality from the speaker. Crisp and clear. I will be looking for a better phone that fits my needs.Read full review

Still fairly new, just a few weeks and not familiar with all the functions. A few things Ive noticed that dont work very well: Fingerprint not very good. Most attempts dont work and I have to put in my password. With spellcheck i have to do a lot of corrections If i use just one hand to work the screen I hit the the icons on either side of the home button and have to do a correction. The sound quality when using the phone is just ok; I have to try to listen real hard to understand the caller. Im still pleased with the phone though.

Obviously a quality product. The operating system does invite too many ads and can be annoying. Also too many different oral warnings. One can get confused as to what is going on. Resolution excellent, but battery life could be better.
