I hesitated in buying this floor lamp because it was a customer return. Also, reviews on another web site complained about it making a buzzing noise. I'm glad I finally took the chance and ordered it. The light works perfectly. Hopefully, it will continue to do so for a long time. My son had to install the bulbs for me as they were too hard for me to install. I have some moderate vision problems and yet enjoy doing a number of crafts that require close work like crocheting and jewelry making. I already own 2 smaller Ottlites and they are good, but the increased brightness of this 36 watt floor lamp is great. I have it in my craft room where I make jewelry and it is making it easier to see my work without such a struggle and allows me to work longer before my eyes will no longer see clearly enough for the tiny details.
