I love the DupliColor line of engine paints, used them a lot during the restoration of my two cars. In this case it was a good match for my water pump on my 1969, original paint will Bill Hirsch and that was not available so i tried this line. It was a bit brighter but my old one was 8 years old. Old Paint?
I think the paint was old and sitting for quite a while. The texture on my new oil pan came out like flat blue 100 grit sand paper. Now I have to wet sand and purchase a different brand of paint. The new pan was cleaned prior to primer and paint. The primer, Duplicolor brand, laid out nice and smooth. The paint...let the photos speak for themselves. Last picture show inside of Canton oil pan to verify new.
