Starbucks mocha powder
Years ago Starbucks sold their mocha powder to consumers, but they discontinued the consumer product. Unfortunately I had become hopelessly hooked. This is the same product, but it’s evidently the version used by their baristas. Highly recommended. You’ll want to repackage it as it’s messy to spoon out single servings from the bag (I use cardboard oatmeal cylinders). At Starbucks they mix the powder with water in some sort of squeeze bottle. The home recipe they used to provide is easier - put one or two teaspoons of the powder into your mug and add about the same amount of water. Mix with a spoon. I usually then add a bit of steamed milk, then the espresso shot, stir, then the rest of the steamed milk and top with milk foam. As good (usually better) than a mocha at the store.
