This Fixed My Light Issue
My fridge light went out and initially I thought it was just a burned out light bulb because the bulb was indeed burnt out. I got a new appliance bulb and ensured it was good, however that did not resolve the issue in and of itself. I looked at some repair sites and the statistics say that 86% of the time, the next most likely issue would be the switch and it is also the next cheapest part. I ordered and installed a new switch but unfortunately, that did not resolve the issue either. The next most likely issue at 12% was this socket. I was reluctant to order this part because there is virtually nothing that can go wrong with it. It is a piece of plastic with two pieces of metal that you plug into. No fuses or anything in between to burn out. I figured I came this far, I would try it anyways. To my amazement, it resolved the problem. The light is working perfectly again. I even went as far as to break my old socket in two and look at the metal terminals and I still don't know why that one was not working. The only thing I can think of is the metal on the side of the socket was bent around the plastic groves where the bulb turns into and maybe the new bulb wasn't able to make good contact. The new socket is built slightly different to address that issue. I included some pictures of the old socket. I'm just happy the light is working again.Read full review

Great buy for the money!
This product was the exact part I was looking for and love the fact Shipping was included in the offer. It arrived several days before estimated tracking showed. I ended up ordering a second one after I received the first order and went ahead a replaced the other light socket in my refrigerator. Definitely saved a lot of money if I had of called a serviceman for this simple repair. Thanks!
