    Upgrade!

    I bought this as a replacement for a 20+ year old rubber mallet that was disintegrating. I have used the Dead Blow before at work and decided to upgrade to it. This is much better than ordinary mallets. No bounce and more efficient energy delivery, with no wooden handle to break.. This will be my last mallet.

    Okay considering the cheap price.

    The faces were concave. I reshaped them on a disc sander to be slightly convex. It's a nice size at 16 ounces. It hits hard enough to adjust wooden parts during glue-ups which is what I wanted it for.
