No subwoofer controls
With 6 audio pre amp out puts, two that are sub outputs one would assume that you could control the subs from this head unit. Wrong! You can only turn them on or off. I never seen a car stereo with subwoofer outputs and not be able to adjust the levels from the stereo. Even the old non touchscreen type stereos. Like I stated earlier this unit is equipped with all the audio outputs for a real system install which is what I did but unfortunately I now have to buy another stereo. Bottom line is; dont buy this radio if you plan on installing subs with it. You will be just as dissapointed as I am. Hope this helps.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Budget Unit
For a beginner audio/video setup, this is a great option. Soundly built and has lots of options. Being picky about crisp sound versus just a ton of bass, I personally like the adjustable EQ. Unit has a bright display that changes colors or you can choose just one. The only con about it (I think) is that it does not show the album artwork when playing music. Great quality at unbelievable price. Only drawback would be the Bluetooth sound quality, not as clear as the manufacturer claims, Bluetooth sounds a bit fuzzy. Also a port for an external microphone would be great. The built in microphone is very week, but I speculate that depends on the distance between where you are sitting and the head unit.
