LITTLE VAC TO RESCUE!
I was having difficulties with debris residue on the bottom of my pool after my 15 year plus Kreepy Krauly went kaput. Not wanting to have to swim under or over the Kreepy anymore, I shopped around and decided to purchase the Pool Blaster Max HD. Small, which is very convenient; easy to use, which doesn't make cleaning the pool a hassle; and getting the job done without having to opt for the much more expensive professional model ($500.00 plus) has made me extremely happy! Only negative I've seen so far is that it doesn't have a LOT of power and with the front nose design the dirt is pushed out in front and to the sides when I'm in a rush because I've got other things to do. But when I take my time and gently slide the vacuum I can't deny its ability to pick up whatever is on the pool floor. One of the smartest buys for the pool ever. Couldn't be happier. Do not removes silt from the pool
I bought it because in the description says that it removes silt from the bottom of the pool but it is not, it will not remove the silt from the pool no matter which of the 3 types of filter bags that they makes and sell for this vacuum and that I bought them and actually owns, unfortunately there's not an attachment exhaust hose to drain the silt out of the pool so the sucked silt by the vacuum immediately returns to the pool water, this vacuum it is a good option for big pieces of debris but not for silt at all.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Worth buying for the right price, a few issues noted
The WaterTech Pool blaster Max HD is worth buying if you have a 18x48 or smaller pool. It adequately picks up bottom debris off of the ground and is fairly easy to empty out. I can appreciate the simplicity of this machine and like that it is not connected to some cord or tubing so it was worth the purchase. I have only a few issues with this cleaner. One of them is that the item does not come with a pole attachment, you have to purchase your own, or hopefully you have one at home that fits this item, the second is the turning of the "on" knob. You have to turn this knob clockwise until it starts up, the problem is turning it off when you finish cleaning the pool. This knob can be very hard to turn when wet since it has a tiny area for gripping, I sum it up to a bad design flaw. One last thing, when this is submerged in water it will pick up close to a gallon of clean water and once you pull it out of the water and turn the cleaner bottom side up, the water then escapes back into the pool. This causes unnecessary weight added to the machine, can be a messy/wet process and more of an arm work out then needed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works for the job intended
Read all the reviews, was leery, took a chance. So far after 2 wks., everything ok. Item came with fine filter bag, which is what I needed. Wanted to pick up algae instead of clogging my pump cartridge filters. I would recommend removing ALL of the white brushes with a very small screwdriver before you even begin. All they will do is stir up what you are trying to vacuum up. And use item very slowly. Hose off bag, repeat.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cordless Pool Sweep
Charged Water Tech Pool sweep as directed and began using it the next day, the pool sweep easily vacuumed up all debris on bottom of pool and spa, no problem with large leaves and small twigs besides the fine dirt and sand. Works great, but for how long...
This is my 3rd one of these pool blasters.. great concept, and they work fine for a while. but they inevitably leak water into the 'motor box', destroying the motor and/or battery pack. The longest one has lasted is 2 seasons... I am willing to pay for the time saving and convenience.. It does an outstanding job without all the hassle
This vacuum is great for touch up in my inground pool. I use an old Solar Breeze NX in combination with a Polaris 280 to keep my pool looking good. There are times when heavy rain washes debris into the pool corner that is a hit or miss area for the Polaris. I pull this vacuum out and in minutes the debris is "in the bag".
