I installed this compressor on 8/30/17. It functions perfectly and is very quiet. If you never see an update to this review, it means that she just kept on ticking. I am completely satisfied. Side Note: A compressor is only as good as the installer. This compressor is shipped dry, so make sure you install the right amount and correct viscosity refrigerant oil into the pump. Also, do not put all of the oil into the pump. A compressor is a vapor pump, it does not pump liquid. Finally, doing the job right includes replacing the accumulator aka receiver/drier, orifice tube, and thoroughly flushing all lines, evaporator(s) and condenser. If you don't flush, it is russian roulette.
