love them
used to replace the terrible air shocks that were on the back of my toyota 2wd pickup I bought. This help keep the rearend of the truck feeling well planted and does help when it is loaded down with mulch or other stuff. I have a 1984 longbed 22r and this is by far the best upgrade I have done to the truck. Even if I tow my trailer the rearend does not sag. Great for sagging suspension
I installed these on my 2wd 88' Toyota pickup and it raised the rear about 3 inches. I bought the truck from a farmer that used it to haul and store feed. So it sat with a load on it most of the time. These shocks raised it up about an inch above level which gives it room for a load without squatting too much. Installation went fairly well. I had to move an exhaust hanger that had been part of exhaust replacement in the past and the wire harness to the rear of the truck had to be tied up more securely to keep it out of the spring. The ride quality is still good without a load. I could tell that the rear suspension is more firm but overall it's good for a small truck. Good way to help worn springs and for heavy loads
These are helper spring shocks not load bearing shocks for those that don't know. They help with saggy or heavy loads so can increase ride height and ride quality. Also vehicles with shock mounts close to the frame may have clearance issues with the springs touching the frame. Love these shocks
Lifted my 2000 Nissan Frontier about 2 inches. Wheels really grip now. They add lift and my truck does not bottom out on rough roads anymore. I had tried the Hellwig spring helpers but they made the ride so rough I took them off. The ride with these in soft and comfortable.
