quality question
i tried to cancel this order , but it was sent anyway....i ended up with 2 dif. bearings , this @ $45 , and a generic @ $20....this arrived nicely pkg. , BUT seemed very loose and sloppy , having play in ALL directions ...it didn't seem right....the generic seemed snug , and of better quality....what to do ? we know that guarantees are no good , we know chinese goods may or may not be good... i went against my instincts and installed the " timkin"( probably chinese) , still living in some past reality where quality parts were dependable and will have to carry the spare , hoping i don't have to repair it on the road , pulling a transmission is no fun out in the desert , i'm 74 yrs. old , and was wanting this to be the last time for this so , i can't REALLY rate this product til/if/when it fails
