Restored normal operation
While my original transducer was still functional it was not keeping the throttle consistent on level ground which caused surging. After replacing hardened vacuum hoses and verifying good vacuum levels at the input port performance improved but surging was still present. Installing the rebuilt transducer resolved the surging problem and after adjusting the bleed nozzle per the shop manual instructions cruise set speed matched engagement speed perfectly. While these analog-mechanical cruise control systems will not respond as quickly nor maintain set speed up and downhill like a modern digital system this rebuilt transducer works just as well as the OEM unit did when new.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
