Save your screws
The overall quality of the product is good I would recommend keeping the screws for the distributor cap that you have. The screws that came in the kit are junk. When installing with a torques bit screw driver by hand in to a plastic distributor the head twisted right off 3 turns in. Thankfully I was able to grab the broken part with pliers and twist it back out. But the rest of the kit work very well noticed engine ran very good when done. The one thing that would be nice if they would number the plug wires they are a fitted set to that specific motor so you don't have to try to match up which one goes where always seems like some are just long enough on one side and the other side you got all kinds of extra wire. Great Product and Great Performance
The TST6 Ignition Tune-Up Kit was just what my 1997 Silverado C3500 Extended Cab Truck needed! My truck had a bad skip, poor gas mileage and a ticking sound coming from the engine compartment. I installed the ACCEL TST6 Ignition Kit in about 5 hours... WOW, what a difference! Now my truck purrs like a kitten. The engine skip is gone, gas mileage is back to what it should be and the "ticking" noise is gone (as suspected, it was caused by a bad ignition wire). My truck is actually a pleasure to drive again. Oh, and I love the ceramic spark plug connectors (the original rubber connectors where totally disintegrated from the engine heat). 100% on Value and Performance. Be Carefull
Kit overall was of decent quality. The shortest cable was almost too short. The absolute nightmare was breaking both cap screws off into the distributor. What a PITA that was to remove them without pulling the distributor. Don't use those screws, unless you have a lot of extra time on your hands.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
