Purolator #F59265-An Alternative Fuel Filter for 1985-86 BMW 524TD Diesel
I collect 1985-86 BMW 524TD diesel E28 sedans, and I also run them on biodiesel or high performance renewable diesel made from vegetable oil. The original filters on these cars are large, expensive, and difficult to remove and replace. Purolator #F59265 and Fram #P4102A filters both fit the spin-on housing for this car perfectly, and allow me to change the filter more cheaply, more easily, and more often. This is a top quality filter, and does a great job of the fine filtration needed for diesel fuel systems.
