If you want a fast responsive crash cymbal this is an excellent choice. Very quick decay. Not my first choice for an all purpose crash cymbal for my playing situations. Fast but Dark
This is a great addition when you're looking for a crash cymbal that has a darker tone. I love it. I've teamed it with the brighter toned Zildjian A Custom fast crash 16 inch and a powerful more full dynamic crash of the excellent Paiste Signature fast crash 18 inch. Fantastic, fast, explosive !
This is one of the best 16 crashes I've ever had. It resembles the fast decay of the Paiste Signature Fast Crahes, but it louder, and somewhat lower in pitch.
