It takes a little getting used to. I think every one is used to the toe down click wah on thing, and this pedal doesn't have that. But, what it does have is a variety of sounds you can get, a boost, or cut in signal if you want it, and some unique features. Being used to the aforementioned method of turning on a wah, just stepping on the wah to turn it on was weird, but, after about five minutes of playing with it, it started making since. Change modes with that big ass lever, and it's comes on through the footswitch. Never understood that one, but if you want a filtered lead sound, it's perfect. I've played some boutique wahs, and never really felt justified in paying $250 or more for a wah pedal. The nice thing about them is the multitude of different sounds you can get. Well, Ibanez has changed that game. With the Level, Q, and Lo parameters you can get a funky quacky wah, or a beefy wah that retains your guitar and amps natural tones. I'm not saying that there aren't better pedals out there, and the boutique pedals, well, they're boutique for a reason. But for the price, you definitely can't go wrong here.Read full review
This is quite possibly the most comprehensive wah pedal on the market today. It's probably got the most parameters you can tweak out of any wah pedal today. I won't elaborate on them here; just check them out on the Ibanez website. But even better is the ability to switch between auto-return and footswitch modes. I give this a 4 instead of a 5 because of the feel and sound of the pedal. The main body and footswitch are solid and feel durable, but the action of the main pedal is really shallow compared to some other ones (e.g. Dunlop), and feels somewhat cheap. The range of vowel sounds, even when maxed out feels just a tad narrow too. But other than that, this wah is still one of the most versatile to have.
This is hands down the most versatile wah pedal on the market.you can adjust from mild(old worn out) crybaby tones to beyond any bad horsey sweep.controls allow delicate tuning if you are so inclined. but basic setting are easy to find and controls are very intuitive.you can control volume loss or dissonant boost with the level control.the q goes from crybaby( at "0"... like 7 o"clock literary "off" is crybaby I a/b'ed the scrap out of it and anywhere past 8 o'clock is just more sweep than a crybaby can produce and the other common extremes i can compare to are a Morley maverick, wd-7 q at about 1 o"clock and the low cut to 9o clock and the level at 3. And a bad horsie wah that's pretty much the same but the q at 3 o clock. And you can set it up to be as sprung or limp however you prefer you can have it engage in a cocked setting.it's serriosly is the best all around wah pedal.Read full review

Being a bass player, you rarely see a "bass wah" either in stores,or even ebay. So, running across the weepinp demon sparked my curiosity. In the sellers descript,he had said he put a bass thru it, &got a pleasant surprise. Took a chance and was equally surprised. Having tried dunlop, morley, and a dod-this is definitly the best! Its all in the tone-the cleanest, straightfwrd wah toneality, non interference w/the regular tone in the neutral position. manual/auto on/off switching, and especially the "self set tones/locking feature. All on the top,in reach. You don"t have to take pedal apart to do adjustments. For my applications, it works and serves well-solid grounding, takes a little getting used to in personal balance,as pedal action is fast, and the tension is light. You don"t have to fight or push to get the effect, as w/ a dunlop. Overall,a great pedal for the price!Read full review
This pedal is SICK! I've played Cry Baby, Morley, Fender, and this one smokes them all. The features it has are way better than most pedals, and it's built well. You can shape the wave form to get a very nice effect you can call your own. It's just SICK!!!
