DOD 280 Compressor
I've tried out quite a few compressor pedals in my rig over the years but this little orange box has to be the best I've come across so far. Doesn't colour your sound like the dyna comp style compressors do & just as important, doesn't add much background noise at all. Not expensive as far as optical compressors go & very solidly built. It just makes everything sound bigger & smoother & without spending hundreds more comes highly recommended for a live use unit. DOD got this one right, good job!

Just what everyone has been saying about it. Nice smooth creamy "classic" compression. Did not notice a change in my tone, that affected the amps true tone (tube amp) but got and affect I was working for, complete. Not noisy at all, lower volume -* did not try high volume. Best setting for me is just past 3:00 position. No negatives. Very happy with it. Note: Have used MXR, Pigtronics, others, but this is a fine little pedal doesn't over-squish. Output/input jack s are tight, also 9vdc/ jack is solid. Super deal for the price. . ...
