Great detail that tells the full story of "Ford vs. Ferrari"
Great story of a big set of events in racing and automotive history. The movie "Ford vs. Ferrari" was taken from this book, but due to it's complexity it was impossible to tell it all in 2 hours. The book tells many more of the elements of the story. The story of Henry Ford II is one story that is in the book, but not as detailed in the movie. Ford II was an amazing business man, turning Ford Motor Co., from a mess in 1947 into #1 in the World some 8 years after taking over the company at only at 28 years old. Another is the detail of Le Mans as an event- it's difficulty, danger and what it takes to win this race.
