Other synths offer their own charms, but ease-of-use is not generally among them. While not to be confused with the Juno analog synth it was named for, the Juno-D has a good variety of sounds, and accessing them is easy & sensibly laid out. This was my first keyboard, and it was a good choice: fun right out of the box, useful in a variety of settings, and still usable alongside high-grade synths. Very light weight, and I haven't outgrown it yet.

The Roland Juno D is a hybrid Juno with the features of a Juno G, and a sin off of the long line of Roland Synthesizers anyone would be proud to own. Nice sound and price for the beginner or professional. Works great with sequencers and computers (DAW).
No external speakers. It makes awesome sounds and it's size is perfect for a house that is limited on space. Roland contacts you back quickly through email for questions that I had.

Great board for the money. Missing some important sounds but a very good value board. It does need to be one of two or three that you play live
