Metal up your cash!
The KH-602 Is a surprising tight compact sleek aggressive axe with a real fast neck. Its like a sports car compared to a Les Paul. Active pickups were a big missing piece in the search of ultimate distortion and I regularly back away from full volume setting to find the sweet-spot. The FR Trem is excellent kit and the guitar stays in Very good tune as set with a Peterson Strobo tuner. The increase in unplugged sustain of this guitar is immediately noticeable. I have 3 guitars and this is my goto for practicing on comfort alone. If your like me and never had active pickups of a neck through guitar you wont be any thing but grinning for picking up a KH-602. Ok 2 digs, 1 the single tone pot is very subtle almost useless. 2 until you get use to it the locking nut on the high E string side can be a bit sharp. I immediately set it up 1/2 step down to D# which required backing out the trem screws 1.25 turns. So go find your best deal and get ready to RIDE THE LIGHTENING!
