That picture is not what my SG-310 looks like. Now,the review. I bought this guitar used. The S/N starts with 081.I think it's a 2008 model.Anyway, I have an Epiphone acoustic 12- String DR 212 NA that I bought new from Musician's Friend. It is pretty much a piece of crap. The action is terrible.I even took it to a repair shop, and they couldn't improve the action. So I was very surprised when I got this SG !!Previous owner did not know how to set up a guitar. The bridge was sky high and I think the strings were factory issued. I lowered the bridge to it's lowest setting and put new strings on it after cleaning it up. Now the action is great and I can't believe the sound !!! This guitar screams !!!This is my 7th guitar, and I think it's going to be my favorite.Epiphone, you have redeemed yourself.5 out of 5 stars (*****)!!!Read full review
I bought this for a project. I switched the neck and converted it to a 12 string. The reason was simple. Epiphone is a Gibson company. The quality of the body and the electronics are 2nd to none for the money. The 12 string sound was better than I had anticipated. The neck was used on another body because it too was very good quality. This project also was a success and the sound is amazing.
I wanted a SG so bad, but I could not fork out the 1000 buck for the one I loved at guitar center. This one , even thought it has holes drilled in it , and its been dropped , plays great !!

Other than the condition it is in now, the guitar itself has a great look and feel to it. The sound is good too.
