There is definitely a difference between the three dollar shampoos and the more expensive shampoos. This shampoo makes my head tingle with glee while applying it, and leaves my hair clean refresh noticeably balanced but not dry. Though is has not advertised this ability, when using the shampoo and conditioner in combination, it has fought off a case of serious dandruff that extra strength Selsun Blue could only keep at bay.
