Superb Kevin Gray remaster of classic Alone Together
The sonic quality of this Kevin Gray remaster of Dave Mason’s seminal ‘classic’ Alone Together is superb ... among the very best vinyl I own. And I own the entire MOFI catalog and every rock lp Analogue Productions has ever mastered. Not mention all the Test Pressings I own. This lp’s Sonics are revealed on my high end equipment... my Dynavector XX-2 cartridge reaches into these grooves and pulls out every instrument, revealing the character of Masons fretwork, picking and vocal intonation. The channel separation of the instruments creates a depth of soundstage that puts me back into my 1970 concert seat. If you love the psychedelic, bluesy R&B of this lp, you HAVE to find a copy of this remaster. It is sublime. Listening: Look at You Look at Me will take you back to the 70’s grooving in your Bell-bottom pants. This is another retro hippie era lp that I am going to have to share with my kids.
