This beautiful hardcover State-Quarters coins album was a great way how I could show and teach my little son (6y/o)about coins and states. I really enjoyed how many questions he asked to me about details on designs, states, etc. It was a wonderful way I could share with him not only knowledge itself, but a little great time too, because he stays with me only on weekends...The album is very nice, great edition; coins fit perfectly on each hole, and even it has a few of them in blank which he placed very old quarters (years 1968/70/74)by my sugestion...We really love it and recommend it...Thanks.
While I appreciate that it holds both P and D varieties of coins, only one side of the coin is visible. The coins are very difficult to place into the book and the book is open to the air, so I assume the coins will age. I guess it's like the saying goes. You get what you pay for. Overall, the book is very colorful and informative. It is a nice book for a beginner collector. But I wouldn't use it for longterm storage of coins. I rate this book a good deal because of the price.
