I appreciate the information written by one of the early fathers of the Christian church. The book shares much insight in the dept of the ministry which it possessses. Truly a history that reminds us of much that has been lost in the church in the resent years of liturgy reforms. Its view towards man and not towards God and the mystical and spiritual side of our lives is hurting our preceptions and relationship to our creator. I bought it because in my opinion very little that has been written since the reforms even comes close to compare. It is a lost treasure !
