The Intel I-5 core is a mid-range quad-core CPU that pretty much acts like a high range CPU. You get what you pay for and more from this CPU. Overclocking it is not a problem, but I didn't see a need to after playing Flight Simulator X. The graphics card does have some to do with it, but the fast power of this CPU is shown in playing the game. Smooth and clean. I picked up the high end of the I-5 cores and this thing helps my programs fly and helps a lot with video editing. If you are looking for a new Intel type CPU and don't have too much money to spend, I would recommend this CPU to anyone on a budget.
The processor works very nice only after installing a PCI express video card on the motherboard (ASUS P7H55-M pro), which we didn't know about it. Luckily, we had one in hand. The fan mount arrived with one of the "screws" tip broken. We didn't mind because we had extras in stock.

Great at stock speeds, overclocked to 3.2 with a turbo of ~3.8ghz without an increase in voltage or temperature. Could go higher if I could adjust the voltage. With the design of the 1156 socket, it made for an extremely easy installation. No pins on the processor = no bent pins.
This is the best solution for P55 chipset system boards. It has ideal Price / Performance / Technology Performs like i7 Has price of Dual Core Equipped with Quad Cores and Intel modern technologies.
