Product Information
Madame Rochas Perfume for Women 1.7 oz Eau De Toilette Spray Introduced in 1960, Madame Rochas is a rich, feminine, enduring fragrance epitomizing French elegance and style. Designed for women who enjoy life, this fragrance unites jasmine and rose with the sumptuous harmony of amber and sandalwood. Named for HElene Rochas, Madame Rochas was the first commercial perfume to be given the name of a living person. HElene Rochas was only 28 years old when she took over as president of the Rochas perfume company after the death of her husband, French haute couture designer Marcel Rochas. HElene worked closely with renowned perfumer Guy Robert in the creation of this graceful fragrance, with it s intoxicating white-flower theme and over 200 ingredients. The eight-sided bottle by Pierre Dinand was adapted from a 18th century cut-crystal smelling-salts bottle HElene discovered in a Parisian antique shop. It was Dinand s first big commission. With it s tapestry motif, and signature color scheme of ivory, red and gold, the Madame Rochas packaging is as elegant and classic french as the juice inside. Notes: hyacinth, orange blossom, broom, neroli, aldehydes, honeysuckle, ylang-ylang, tuberose, jasmine, rose, orris, sandalwood, musk, amber, cedar, vetiver, tonka bean, moss Style: Madame Rochas is rich, floral-aldehyde fragrance.
