The value used to be excellent! I've used Interlude (by Francis Denny) for at least 30 years. It suits me, I receive compliments, and I have loved it. My grown children identify the fragrance as their mom - it is my scent. The company sold to a bigger outfit. and things have changed. I haven't tried the new "Interlude" because, first of all it's ridiculously priced at around $200 and, the new advertising even states something to the effect that the formula may not be identical. My wife wore this fragrance for years until they stopped making it. So as a Birthday surprise for her, I paid an exorbitant price for a big "new" bottle. It is as flat as a flounder and not worth a quarter. Serves me right for not realizing that old perfume loses its smell after a period of time.
