Made In USA. Timing chain options include both standard and roller chains to provide matches with the high quality sprockets and if necessary tensioner and guides that fit the application. Both OEM and performance timing chain kits are available.
I am not sure who makes the best kit, Ford OEM & Melling was recommended. In reality this kit should contain more items to complete the job, even with included costs. There are a couple of metric O-rings that would be nice to have for the bolts that hold the tensioners. The compartment plug seal at the back of the jackshaft should be in there too. There are three torque to yield bolts that are mandatory to replace that could be included - Balancer bolt, front and rear jackshaft bolt. It would also be helpful to include the crankshaft sprocket in the kit as well. I converted my engine to delete the balance shaft assembly as well, a couple of the metric pipe plugs to block the oil galley passages would have been helpful. This is supposed to be a 6 hour job but you will be waiting days to get all the related parts together. As for quality, I will still need to see if it lasts as long as the factory one did, which isn't a great design.
