    Great product, but not necessarily for every car.

    This product appears to be made for multiple vehicles, which means it might be perfect for some and not as perfect for others. This one is not as perfect for a 1975 Mercedes 300D. The latching mechanism is too tight and it is difficult to remove. I know it is new and should be a little tight, but not that much. There is nothing wrong with the part, or the manufacturing, or the seller. I recommend this part for a car other than the 75' MB 300D
