    A?C Compressor

    It is listed as 'New" but it is obviously re manufactured. That being said it looks well done but the exception was the compressor clutch connector was incorrect and I had to cut and splice the connector from the old compressor assembly to make it comparable with that of my truck. There were no instructions as what kind of and how much compressor oil should be used nor if the oil it was shipped with was the right amount or type. I did drain out the oil it was shipped with and installed the oil most commonly reccomended in replacement compressors and hope for the best. It works fine a month now after installing it.

    Wrong part

    Pit Stop Auto wanted to sell apart so fast that they did not even read my comment about needing it for 3.9 liter instead of a 2.4 in the comments section so they sent me the wrong part now I have to ship it all the way back and now they want to try to charge me a restocking fee because they were too happy to get their money and not check my comment to make sure I got the right part

    About as inexpensive as I could find

    My sons old Jeep Cherokee AC went out and the repair shop was going to charge me $450 for the compressor not including labor. The car was old and I didn't want to spend a lot. The auto repair shop suggested I might find one cheaper myself and they would just do the labor so I did. Very nice of them. Very honest bunch at Christian Brothers Auto. It has been about two weeks and no issues. Nice cold ac and the repair shop didn't say anything negative about the part. I would recommend.
