Great value on a uke.
I was pleasantly surprised upon the arrival of this uke. I wasn't expecting much given the price. I was wrong. The fit and finish of the uke is great, with the exception of sharp fret ends, which is the only reason I didn't give it five stars. I plan on dressing the fret ends with a needle file to fix that issue. The uke is comfortable to play and sounds great unplugged and amplified. The gig bag is quite nice for the price and it comes with an instrument cable and a rudimentary strap. Nice instrument that turned out to be troublemaker
It's really beautiful. Good strings, good sound, acceptable connection quality. After a week it was still unable to keep tune but I know it sometimes happens to new instruments. Now it starts buzzing somewhere inside and tuning has become a trouble, looks like the neck curved and there no bolt to straignten it. I most likely have to go to a repair shop... will it work out? Fun concert ukulele
It has great style, reminiscent of an Ovation/Applause ukulele. It plays well enough, but the fret ends definitely need smoothing out. Nothing a little careful filing can't fix. My biggest issue is the battery box. It doesn't want to stay in place and pops out, making it useless as an amplified instrument. I'll have to install a better built battery holder. Again not a big deal and for $41.00, it's still a great deal!! But several and pass them out to family members/friends who may want to strum along with you. Nice little uke. I got this for my wife for Christmas thinking that at this price what harm could it be to try it out. I’m glad I did. After sanding down the bridge and restringing it, this instrument has more than what I expected in tone. The roseboard fret is smooth, no frets needed to be filed down and the finish is really impressive. I recommend for any beginners

Good uke for the price
This is a very pretty, nice sounding, uke for the price. Feels nicely made. Our only issue so far is some tuning slippage. But this could be because of the new strings stretching. Hoping it's not the tuning pegs. Also sounds very good plugged into an amp and/or with effects petals. As a gift or starter uke, you can't go wrong.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good for the money.
Amazed a the low price for a imitation "Ovation" style ukulele. Decent case for the price. Pickup works well. Had to tighten the audio connector nut after the nut fell off and I had to rethread the connector through the hole by access from the battery box. Yes it came with a battery.
