  • Nice filter, but it doesn't come with a water filter. Buy one and replace the two items together.

I needed a new fuel filter for my 2005 Jeep Liberty CRD and this fit the bill perfectly. These are due for replacement every 30k miles. I did the replacement when I got the Jeep, and now here I am 30k miles later. When I got the Jeep I used a factory filter because I was buying a number of other things that were all factory replacement parts and it just made sense to buy them together. This time to save a bit of money I decided to get this WIX filter. The filter installed fine and WIX makes a fine product. The reason I docked it a star is that the factory filter I bought previously came with a new water sensor. This WIX filter required me to swap the sensor from the previous filter. The sensors are cheap looking and feeling, and it's probably a good practice to replace them every 30k with the filter. Since I didn't have one on-hand and wanted the job done I swapped in the old one, but if I'd known ahead of time that the filter didn't come with a new sensor, I'd have bought a new one of those too.
