    Manageable Installation

    Haven't had a chance to drive the car to see how the shocks respond. I loaded the shocks to 40 PSI to get the car to the stance I desire without anyone in the car. The thing I did NOT LIKE about the shock was the top mounting plate on the shock was ninety degrees to the shock and it took some pressure to get the bottom over to the outside angle where it mounts on the axle. The shocks I replaced were at a slight angle on the top of the shock to allow for the outward angle to mount the bottom which I believe is a better design. I hope this will not put undue pressure on the air bladder of the Gabriel Hijacker shock and make it wear out.

    I have been looking for this set for a long time and when I found them I had to get them for my 1964 chevy impala because they are really hard to find. I even searched J.c. wittney because that is where I used to get them from and in my opinion hi jacker are the best air shocks make

    Worked amazingly on my 94 Caprice Wagon.

    I got these for the rear of my 1994 Chevy Caprice wagon as the Monroe air shocks I just installed seemed faulty out of the box. (super bouncy, terrible rebound) It has the self level ride system, so it needed an air adjustable shock. I’ve used Gabriel Hijackers in the past and have loved them, and I am blown away at the ride quality of these. I’ve never used them in a ride level system capacity, but thought I’d give it a try. I’d rank them right up there with Bilstein for ride quality.
