It was my hope that the "New" Corvair M...
It was my hope that the "New" Corvair Mechanical Fuel Pump I purchased would have been of a better quality than many of the more recent generic pumps available on the market. I was somewhat disappointed that it appears to be almost identical to other brands that just don't last very long with today's ethanol fuels. Upon disassembly, this pump appears to be marginally better than some of those yet still could use improvement. At least there is a hole for the locator / retainer screw to go.
