I purchased this kit 5 years ago locally and it lasted only 45,000 miles before leaking again.
The original new parts from the factory lasted 18 years and over 100, 000 miles. Aftermarket parts like Gates should have lasted much longer but it didn't. Price was good, but not when you expect a long life of the product and don't get it. What ever company Chrysler buys the "factory quality" parts from, should sell their products to the aftermarket parts stores. Gates is ok but this is an expensive repair. Shops all charge well over $500 dollars to replaced the pump and belt on this 3.5 V6. Shops get 5 hrs labor to do this work. Do the math! I suggest buying only a factory authentic Chrysler water pump next time and eat the cost. Just be sure its a true factory part from the dealer.
