Exact fit..but
1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0l - Additional parts needed ONLY if you have the AMC type OEM hanger and the Walker Quiet Flow Muffler...= (1) small tube of JB weld. (1) 9/16 nut (for added safety) Easy Install, However with a 4" lift it rides just a little closer to the driveshaft than I'd prefer when its matched up to the Walker Quiet Flow Muffler and I did have to insert the welded on hanger in the opposite side of my stock AMC Hanger in this 98' and tapped a 9/16 nut on the end of the hanger , applied some JB weld to stop it from slipping out of the rubber loop. It did made the exhaust a little closer to the mudflap but not enough to send excessive heat or rattle at idle against the floorboard. If I didn't have to nab a tube of JB weld I would've given a 5 star as it also shows no signs of weakness or discoloration. Walker is a dependable company who has been around for decades and sure, Id buy it again.. Hope this helps.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
