BMW E-36 Axle Shaft not what expected, but works
First it comes with bolts, but they are too long to use and hit the differential you must reuse old bolts(new ones are 50mm long and old ones are 40mm long), second you have to pack it with grease yourself, third you have to reuse your old cap for the diff side, it does not come with a cap (this is much more of a pain than it sounds), fourth the nut that holds it in the hub is much larger and required a 35mm socket, not the 30mm that took it apart, and the threads are different you must use the new nut. Now all that aside the axle seems well made and at least as heavy duty as OEM. For 1/6th the price $55 shipped vs $325 shipped for OEM. I recommend it only if you are ok with taking apart and putting together a CV joint yourself, it is NOT a direct bolt in.
