Replacement or upgrade?
The water pump installed like OEM, looked like OEM, . The high performance modifications advertised for this product were not visible on inspection of such, only thru daily use and changing driving conditions will the truth they claim be known. . For now it is functioning as it should but only time will tell, I bought this Automotive product because it's maker believes it to be far better than OEM. In the manner of high volume and high performance.

GMB Water pump
Ordered this for my '99 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.9L gas engine. The unit performs great. No noise or rattles, perfect fit, and tight tolerances. Only upgrade I would suggest is a larger "O" ring rated for harsh chemical contact.
