Fixed my SES light with code 1404
Installed this eGR valve a week ago and have not had the SES light come on again. Yah. Cleaned old valve only to have light come back on intermittently. I think the mecha nical valve was OK, but the electronic sensor inside the valve was malfunctioning. The car never ran poorly and fuel mileage was never affected. The SeS light would come and go.
