Sturdy Replacement
1988 F350 work truck, worn rag joint, decided to replace with u-jointed intermediate shaft; Borgeson 980 was longer than stock, but after shortening per instructions provided, installation was quick and easy. Allen-head set screws much better than stock hex-head. One screw had to be shortened on firewall side, but easy fix. Once completed, steering became very responsive and low backlash.
