worked Great
It is a pool motor. If you don't know, you probably shouldn't be goofing around with changing one out. 220v power can hurt. Be sure to shut down the power before trying to replace the old one. That said, it was a direct replacement for the one that failed. You do need to know how to shut the power off, pull the pump apart, remove and replace the electrical connection(it needs the ground, hook it up too), and get the impeller off and back on the new pump shaft. With the end cover off one can use a wrench to hold the shaft and get the impeller off and back on the new motor. Reinstall and turn the power back on, and enjoy the pool getting filtered again. You may need to back wash or clean your filter out as a dirty filter can cause a lot of drag on the motor. Great piece for much less than the local pool supply was wanting for theirs.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
